Can i buy food and drinks at the beach
There is a Kiosk on the beach, it is usually open weekends, and public holidays weather permitting.
The Kiosk is run indepentantly of the Garie Surf Life Saving Club, further enquiries can be made by contacting the National Parks and Wildlife Services.

 

Beach Conditions
The conditions at Garie Beach vary and are ever changing. Strong Rips and Sudden Drop-Offs are prevelent at Garie Beach. Furthermore during weather events the surf can be hazardous even to the most experienced swimmers, when swimming at Garie Beach ensure that your children are supervised and you always swim between the flags

 

Camping, and Accomodation
at present there is no accomodation or camping facilities on Garie Beach, there is campgrounds located at North Era Beach, and also Bonnievale near Bundeena NSW

 

How do i get to Garie Beach

Public Transport
Park Connections is the Licensed providor for transfers within the national park they do have scheduled service to Garie Beach

Walking

Garie beach is located south of the Sydney CBD within the Royal National Park
You can Walk to Garie beach but you should allow for an overnight stay at the North Era.
The Coast Track Starts and finises at Bundeena NSW in the North and Otford in the South, Signage directs you from Bundeena ferry wharf to the beggining of the coast track. the coast track is well signposted along its way through to Garie Beach onward to Era, Burning Palms, and Otford in the south

Driving
Garie Beach is Located off Sir Birtrams Stevens Drive which makes up the first leg of the Grand Pacific Drive, parking is available at the beach. visitor passes can be purchased from the Royal National Parks and Wild Life Services, Bundeena Service Station, Toll Booth at Audley and Garie Beach,
